Thai people used (well, still do) eat their meals on boats, mostly in Bangkok canal's. Their infamous boat noodle arrived in Malaysia not long ago.

A shop called Dope Alley in SS15, Subang Jaya, serves tasty boat noodle. They serve the noodles in small bowls with their mouth-watering strong flavoured broth. The broth really does complements the rice noodles with some vegetables. They have it in both chicken or beef flavour that you could choose from. The best part of this, each bowls only costs RM1.90. What a steal!

Other than boat noodle, they also serve fried chicken skin, chicken or beef balls, and others too (like Thai fried rice, Tom Yam and so on).

For dessert, they serve the famous Thai pancake. We wanted to order their Thai ice cream but sadly, the person in charge wasn't in. Thai pancakes it is then! In a nutshell, it's such a cheap and delectable street food meal. It's highly recommended.

There are always a long queue in front of these stalls. Locals craves for the famous SS15 rojak. Situated next to KFC SS15, the small stall is famous for its different flavour in Rojak. Rojak is a traditional tea-time meal for Malaysians (as they do not have scones and tea for tea time!).

The famous Rojak Stall. There are types of rojak you can choose. Price range from RM3.50 to RM4.50. You can inform the Rojak man to customize your rojak if you needed too (cause we know we did). They have four types of Rojak; Egg with squid, Squid, Egg or just plain Rojak. Rojak is best served with egg and squid, because the both of the ingredients adds plentiful amount of flavour to the rojak. It is a must try street food!

The above picture is the yummy rojak. Rojak and cendol (RM1.20) which cost only RM 5.70 !!

It is better if you come before 4pm to avoid the long queue. Happy feasting with your eyes (cause you know you want some).

Waking up in a beautiful morning and losing idea what to have for your breakfast? In Penang, there are some locals' favourite place for brunch or breakfast call "Ah Lai kopitiam - Under The Big Tree". They are very simple and operating under a big tree. Many locals and visitors are willing to queue up for the tasty and mouth-watering breakfast or brunch. Undeniably, their foods are worth to queue for it. Location of this cafe is at Church Street Ghaut, opposite an open-space car park along the road.

They are very famous of their Ice Coffee or you may also choose the Ice Coffee+Tea. Cold beverages are not recommended to take in the early morning or the first meal of the day. But this is the exception !! They taste so nice that it is hard to find one in KL city. Also, the price of this drinks is only RM 2 which is considered in the average range.

 

We always have instant noodles for our breakfast when we are young. Even now, we always have it when we are too busy with our work or studies. What's so special about instant noodle here? Yes! Cheese has eventually added into the noodles and make it tastier than ever. Except cheese, eggs and sausages are added as well. They just taste different! Price for this is just RM 5 !!

You may also try their toasts with or without eggs and together with the sausages. Their half boiled eggs are just nice on the buttered toasts which only costs you RM 3.60. It would be nicer if you added a dash of soya sauce and sprinkle on some pepper on it. Another type of bread is that they have the sausage, eggs, cheese and some tomatoes inside the bread. It tastes so good when you have them all together in your mouth. Yumss** Grab any chances to come and try it out. In case you are wondering, yes, it's just that simple and everyone could cook at home.
