798 Shabu Shabu - Sha to the Max

798 Shabu Shabu - Sha to the Max

Are you a meat lover? Guess 798 Shabu Shabu which is located at Sunway Pyramid wouldn't sound strange to you then. It is a Japanese dish featuring thinly sliced meat boiled in water. It is considered to be more savoury and less sweet than Sukiyaki, which is another type of Japanese dish. Also, it is more expensive as well with finer vegetables ingredients and better cuts of meats such as pork, chicken, beef, venison, lamb, fish and abalone. If you wish to have some seafood such as fish and prawn, you could add RM1 for additional plate for it. The price range for having meal here is in the middle range which is RM 29.80 per person during the lunch time (until 4.30p.m.) and RM 39.80 per person for dinner time (after 4.30p.m.).

Beside that, you can choose your flavor of soup for yourself. There are several choices for the soup such as pork bone soup, tomyam soup, pepper soup and herbal soup. If you have difficulty in choosing either one of them, you may also choose the soup of the day since they have designed different taste of soup for every weekday for you. By the way, their soup is tasting so good !! Meats that offered by them also very fresh as well, you just need to stir it inside the soup for few seconds and you can have them already as they have been cut into very thin slices.

A healthy meal is always encouraged by people. So, except enjoying their meats, do not forget also to take some vegetables so you could have a balanced meal. They provide you a variety of vegetables, fish balls, pork balls, and other side dishes. You can just take as many as you wish to. But, do not waste the food, as there have a rule stating that you will be fine RM 10 for every 100 grams of foods wasted. Also, they only allow you to have your meals inside the restaurant for 100 minutes. You have to pay more if you stay over that time range set. Sounds so bad huh? Actually, 100 minutes is more than enough to get your stomach full.

Besides, there are a number of sauces prepared there which you can take to use to dip meats and vegetables when eating shabu-shabu. For example, ponzu sauce and sesame sauce. Other condiment options such as spring onion and Japenese pickled carrots are provided by the restaurant as well so that customers can make the sauce according to their own preferences.

Recently, 798 Shabu-Shabu has offered a brand new range of meals which is the rice bucket. So if you are not interested in having shabu-shabu, you may try their rice bucket as well. Overall, the rating for this restaurant is 8/10 because they served very good food and provide quality service to their customers.
